Kongstenbadet in Fredrikstad is located just outside the Old Town and offers a large outdoor swimming facility. If you want to swim in the sea, there are many options in both Fredrikstad and Hvaler.

Fredrikstad’s archipelago extends almost all the way into the city center and provides easy access to sun, salt water, rocky beaches and sand for everyone. On Hvaler there are idyllic swimming gems on all the islands, in addition to the easily accessible city beach at Skjærhalden.
