After a short introduction, you’ll head to the shoreline where Pacific oysters are easily found. Equipped with the necessary tools, you’ll learn how to identify, harvest and handle the oysters safely while discovering why removing them helps protect native species and preserve the biodiversity of the Oslofjord.
Once the harvest is complete, relax by the sea and enjoy freshly prepared Pacific oysters served by a local restaurateur. Combined with spectacular coastal scenery and fascinating stories about marine life, this is an unforgettable nature and culinary experience.
